FC Wichita (2-1-1, 7 points) at FC Tulsa spirit (0-4-0, 0 points)

After a thrilling 2-2 draw with Texas Spurs FC on Saturday, June 3, FC Wichita has to regroup quickly as they head to T-Town for a Southwest-North Region showdown with FC Tulsa Spirit at 7 p.m. on Saturday night.
FC Wichita’s season has been relatively positive and quite dominating. They have a plus-11 goal differential and are only two points out of first place in the region, behind both FC Dallas clubs. Led by Katie McClure (4) and Alyssa Reiniger (2), FC Wichita’s scoring out put has a complete club effort as 10 different players have scored at least one goal this season.
FC Tulsa Spirit hasn’t seen better days as FC Wichita has seen. They’re winless in four matches this season and in those four matches, they’ve scored only once. They have a a goal difference of negative-28, which is the worst differential in the WPSL.
Coached by Ali Adibi, he’s a bit of a coaching legend within the Sooner State. He coached at Southern Nazarne (Bethany, Okla.), then he was the head man for the form NASL Tulsa Roughnecks in the 90s. He’s coached throughout the U.S., including at Cornell University. As the head coach of FC Tulsa Spirit, Adibi is 10-61-13.
Despite the struggles on the winning side, there have been some bright spots for Tulsa. They led FC Dallas U23 at the half 1-0 before falling 4-1.

The ladies do not return back to Stryker until June 24 when they will have a rematch against FC Dallas U-23. They’ll travel back to Dallas next weekend to play both FC Dallas and FC Dallas U-23.
